New Home Construction: Day 15 WE HAVE WALLS!

We drove by the house today to see where they were at and were pleasantly surprised with the progress. This first photo is the front of the house from my usual first photo position, right at the corner of the future driveway.

Here's a better look at the garage. You can see the beginnings of all three stalls of the garage.

Here is a picture of the entrance-way. The ramp is where the porch stairs will be later on.

Let's take a walk inside and see from the front doorway. Those are the stairs leading up to the upper level from the front room. To the back left you can see the future dining room. And behind the stairs is kitchen.

Here is the look from the back of the house. You can see where the double door and the window for the guest room will be on the basement level. Just above that is the main level where the sliding door for the kitchen will walk out to the deck. To the left is the great room windows. I don't know why they call this the great room... it's pretty small.

While we are watching this thing get built, we are moving out of the sold house and into a hotel. We got pretty lucky using Priceline and our new "home" has a full-size fridge.
